Happy New Month!!!

What better way to start the month of march on the blog than getting to know the person behind it. Sincerely i have been stalling on this post but i’m glad i finally get to put it up!

Some of the facts are questions that you guys asked to be answered. Let’s get it done shall we?

20 Facts About Me

1. I enjoy my alone time. Most people think its weird but really i like to have my alone time! If i don’t get to have this, i start getting irritated with whoever/whatever. Reason why i don’t live with people..i mean after all the excess interactions at school i want to come home to peace and quiet and nothing more.
2. I talk a lot, sometimes. I tend to be both an introvert and extrovert. If i’m comfortable around you/enjoying your vibe/or just in the mood? I can talk for dayssss uno. Excess information actually. But if not? I’m like mute mute mute.
3. I don’t like sharing my personal things. “No i’m not borrowing you my clothes (except you fall in mud on your way to see the president), my shoes? lmao  (bye felicia), leave my makeup alone, don’t touch my jewelry.” Don’t get me wrong, i do share but it mustn’t turn to everyday thing. I’ll rather just dash you already. I rarely ask my friends to use their personal stuff because its just not me..sigh
4. Where do you shop? (submitted question) I don’t have a specific place i shop. I’m actually the most random..If i walk past a shop and see something cute that’s affordable? I’m getting it biko, no time. I can’t even say i’m a designers person because can i even afford them? *cries in student budget* I can say most i.e 80% of my shoes are from “Parisian”  (they have great styles and are so affordable gees)
5. I am not a morning person. I really just want to sleep..not waking up and getting busy so fast. My ideal career is one that allows me to stay in bed all morning and then maybe work in the afternoon. I don’t think that’s a real career though.
6. I eat A LOT! I’m that skinny friend that eats 120 times more than you do, bigger portions and doesn’t add 1 kg. I wonder where it all goes to.(it’s my forehead) Plus when i’m hungry? oh you will know..i look sad, my veins are out and i’m totally irritated.
7. Have you ever been in love? (submitted question) Of course my nigga, i’m in love with myself now more than ever. It’s a beautiful thing. lol jokes. I know this person is referring to romantic love? the answer remains yes!
8. I love calculations. Mathematics and Further maths used to be two of my favorite subjects in secondary school. I enjoyyyy solving all those crazy equations that are nothing like the example the teacher gave in class. I’m glad i still get to exercise this hobby in my Family and Community Medicine class (my friends always tease that  i should just be a statistician and stop playing myself)
9. I am short (in Nigeria).  I know, I know, I know. I look tall in pictures and that’s because my legs make up 3/4 of my whole body. This makes me look tall but I’m just 5’5″.I think i’m still growing though. Well in Asia i don’t consider myself short sha..i’m taller than the average height so slayyy. The reality only hits when i’m in Nigeria and now i think i might be the shortest in my house (younger sister needs to stop growing or…) 
10. How has being a blogger/model affected your life and how do you manage to combine both so well? (submitted question) Whoever you are, you used the right word – manage. That’s what it is. Practically i have classes Monday to Saturday (pot of beans life) so i only have time for modeling weekends(saturday class is just in the early morning) and holidays. I draft most of my posts during weekends and schedule the posting time because i’m too busy during the week(medicine is quite demanding and draining to say the least) but sometimes i make the post during long boring lectures. The two have made me a better person. Now i can put plans in place and make sure to execute them, i write better and learn new things+meet new people.
11. Pictures are never enough with me. Whenever i happen to be looking fleeky (which is mostly only Sundays tsk), there is nothing like too many pictures. And selfies also (all my pictures are beginning to look the same though, someone epp). I have reduced now though… 2 years ago i used to take pictures everyday and Facebook suffered it.
12. I’m very business oriented. We might just be talking normal random stuffs and my mind quickly goes to how whatever might be a good business idea or how to make money from that or how to sell that to investors or whatever. I’m always happy when i see young entrepreneurs, its like yes you get it.

13. What inspires you? (Submitted question) A lot of things do, My parents inspire me, Friends, Environment, etc. You know i feel just remembering that “you cannot be the one to disgrace the family/you have to shame the devil from your village” is enough to inspire any Nigerian. Seriously
14. I always sing the background, chorus, and the hook of every song. Who doesn’t though? I mean where is the fun in just singing one part of an entire song…better sing everything. Plus i’m a little obsessed with knowing the right lyrics to any song i listen to. It actually annoys me that so many people don’t take time to learn the lyrics to a song. If you are one of such and you sing beside me, i’m one to keep correcting you all through the song because it really bugs me.
15. I do a lot of things. Jack of all trades master of all? YES please. ok maybe not master of all but i’m very handy (is that the right word?) I dance (that comes before anything else..my first passion hence invite me when you have a party because i am the live of the party, or not.) , i sing (my voice has its days though..one day Rihanna the next oga vico), i design, sew, sketch, blog, model, make hair (I’ve been making my hair myself 3 years and counting) and stuff i can’t remember i do haha
16. Nigerian music and movies. I love my Nigerian movies and music any day anytime. Forget all them ones that be talmbou “i don’t watch Nigerian movies, they’re not educative, you will know the end from the beginning” / “i barely listen to Nigerian music” bla bla bla BYE FELICIA!!! I am steady on my Iroko TV watching Jenifa’s diary and Yoruba movies while dancing to Connect-Phyno idc idc
17. I hate talking for too long on the phone. I know i said i can be a talkative but talking for too long on the phone is not for me. I’m one of those people that would cut the call and say it was network(rude i know but how do you tell someone that you’re tired of talking to them?). Even if the gist is hot, its only a matter of time till i’m not about that life. I am a TEXTER though! I don’t really message people first (i don’t do this purposely it just doesn’t happen..there are exceptions sha) so i always appreciate when people message me & will reply fast if i’m on my phone (except i don’t want to talk to you/sleeping/super busy)
18. I love birthdays! OMG i love birthday celebrations. It’s my thing. I always say i miss my birthday lol don’t ask me.
19. Shoe et Lipstick Hoarder. If anybody knows me well, they will say i cannot stop buying shoes to save my life. It’s like a ritual..one time last year i didn’t buy any pair of shoe for like 3 months and i was having withdrawal symptoms.I blame the lack of actual small sized clothes in stores. I would go out and plan to buy a cloth but i rarely find my size and i hate all those adjustments things so after spending my time walking up and down i should now go home with nothing? That’s like i wasted my time (which i hate) so i resort to shoes and/or lipstick. They never fail me…only my wallet does.
20. Last but not least, i love the LORD! I don’t joke with my God oo behind all of these is someone who prays and studies the bible..I’m not the best christian but i’m definitely not the worst. I enjoy going to church, not for the let-me-go-and-show-them-i-have-new-dress but for the fellowship. I am a PK (Preacher’s kid..more like General Overseer’s kid) so yeah… Church is for Me.

One last thing guys!!! My name is Toluwalade and last name is Toyin-Kehinde. So when you guys refer to me as “Toyin” its awks! lol I’m like “oh hey dad, they say you fleeky”. But it’s my brand name so i guess i brought it on myself. Anyway, my teachers always called me by my last name in high school and i have Toyin on a couple of my track jerseys so blehh..its fine, just awks.

I thought i wouldn’t last till 20 but see me still having more stuffs to say. I do hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as i did.
